Jeez, it's February and I think I should take my Xmas icons down haha.

I'm kinda feeling a bit weird lately, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Mostly vacillating between being sleepy as fuck and jittery as hell.

Hmmm..."fuck" and variations of such have become my favorite word lately. I really need to cut back on my foul language (per request from the mister LOL) but "fuck, fucking, fuckers" is just a natural part of my vocabulary and I am comfortable with it.

Work's been pretty good, survived two afternoon SCOT (Self-Checkout) attendant shifts. Who knew we would have high school kids wandering in the store as late as 6 pm? Very annoying! I did manage to get chocolate yogurt seep into my shoe while cleaning up a broken container in front of one of the SCOT terminals. Glad I wasn't wearing my new Nikes. I would trade all those damn Lane Tech kids for my old obnoxious Wrigleyville drunks...god I miss Southport!

Last nite we also went to see "Youth In Revolt" which I had been dying to see for at least a month. I was glad to see it becos it was the last nite playing at the theater and I don't really see it playing anywhere else now. Very good movie, of course the ending was a tad predictable but I thought it was cute. Defo one for the DVD.

Is it wrong that I got slightly creeped out to hear "1,2,3,4" by the Plain White T's for the first time EVER on the loudspeaker at the Jewelz??? I don't HATE it, but it's not something I really want to hear at work and it kinda ruined my break lol :P.

At least it wasn't that annoying "Hey There Delilah" song.

Yes, three whole freakin weeks without a post in here. It's not like I haven't thought about it but it has been kinda difficult to log onto here for the past couple weeks.

I just find it easier to post mini-updates on Facebook, and I haven't really been active much on there either. Becos I have an addiction...a BAD addiction. To MUSIC.

Oh yeah, I've been enjoying my tunes, especially watching live performances on YouTube of my favorite bands including Arctic Monkeys, Smashing Pumpkins, The Beatles, Oasis...etc. :).

Well I gots to go, gonna have Chinese for lunch today...hurray!

New Years was awesome this year cos Greg had the night off from his doorman job :D. We kinda kept it low key by going to a chruch family frineldly function but we were allowed to bring our own boooze so we did and I am a lil fucked up right now lol.

I can't believe that the Jewels gave me the WHOLE FUCKIN DAY OFF. WOOT!!!'

I love you people so much I wanna cry right now so I better get off of here before I do.

Jeez I cannot believe how fast time has gone by this year. Yeah I know I've been saying that in nearly every post I've made this month. SHUT UP lol.

I am ahead of where I was last year shopping-wise, got Xmas cards out earlier than usual (i.e. before the 20th) but am behind in decorating. Which is actually ok cos no one sees our place anyways and I at least got the tree sorted out and plugged in. I still have to buy family gifts but they are gift cards so not hella stressful. Greg still needs to finish his shopping, but I am tempted just to buy the stuff for myself and pretend to be suprised on Christmas morning lmao. I love him so much :X.

There were two parties we attended a couple weeks ago, one for Yelp Chicago and an unofficial work party (with no bosses lol). Lotsa drinking and other naughty things muahahaha (pix on Facebook).

I've also been working quite a bit, not as much as before Thanksgiving but probably a hell of a lot more than I will be working next month. I am excited that I am getting out early on Christmas Eve and hopefully the same for New Year's Eve. It will be Greg's 1st NYE in 5 years that he is off and we can actually do something WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Now to get some dinner and relax :).

Where the hell did time go this year??? It seems like just yesterday it was the New Year and here we are again...at the end. Part of me doesn't like December because it always means endings. But then there is a fresh new start come January and I hope to change a LOT of things in my life over the next year. Like posting on here *evil facebook stole my soul =P*.

I can't believe it's Xmas time already too. I'm ahead on present shopping but way behind on other Xmas preps including cards. I'm only sending cards to those I have addresses to this year, if you want one and I don't have your addy you can email me at demonic_angel_linda@yahoo.com or message me on FB cos you KNOW you'll find me there =P. I'm not gonna ask my Facebook list cos I have too many of them LMAO and I wouldn't have time to write them all *lazy am I*.

Well today is the first of two straight days of Xmas parties :D. Can't wait, got some stuff in the dryer cooking then gonna take a shower shortly.

GREG: He likes lingonberries.
ME: OMG, you know about lingonberries???
GREG: I've been to IKEA.

I can't believe it is Thanksgiving already!!! Seems like it was just summertime a few short weeks ago and I was just getting used to my new store. Now everyone has gotten to know me or at least gotten used to me and I love it there :). I'm not sure I want to go back to Southport when it reopens, I love my boss at Western Ave. and my co-workers are a blast :D. Not that I don't miss my old co-workers...I miss them a ton! Especially Marygene, Janet, Doris, Miguel and CJ. I do have Dave, Jeanette and Fred with me at my store to keep me company lol.

This past month has been been veryyyyy busy and I am now getting 4-5 days a week. Which I am very thankful for. Heck I am just thankful to have a job these days! I worked 10-2 today and am now ready to shlep Greg and myself over to my Mom's for dinner :D.

So I hope that all of you reading this and all my friends have the Happiest of Thanksgivings! Don't eat too much cos you gotta save some for me ;).

This seriously has to be a new record! Gotta love renewed interest in things I have abandoned for so long :).

Not too much happened over the weekend because I worked both Sat. and Sun. I did get to see my former boss lady Ivett and receiving clerk Glenn from Southport over at the Western Ave. Jewel on Saturday :D. They weren't together which made it even more of a conicedence lol. I saw Ivett first as I was getting ready to punch out and was so excited we gave each other a big hug! After work we went to eat at Whole Foods where we met up with Mother Gregula and Rey.

Yesterday I had to work 1-6 which meant no time to do anything :|. It was busy. I was glad to be there because the Bears sucked harder than a three-dollar ho and would have been depressed watching the game. Went to KFC/Taco Bell and got food for dinner cos there was nothing I wanted at work and Big Boy was closed.

Today I'm working 5-9. I'm kinda glad to be working the evening shift for a change, sick of looking at the HS kids lol.

We got kind of a late start as G. was a bit tired from being out late on Thursday. Also there was a serious lack o' things to do with the passing of Halloween :(.

We decided to eat at Whole Foods in Lincoln Park and then see an 11:30 pm showing of "The Stepfather" at the Crown Village 18 Kerasotes in Skokie. It was kinda weird being in a theater that I have never been to before. They show movies really late there, there was all kinds of midnight showings last nite!

Only annoying thing was a goofy manager demanding to see our ticket because we had wanted to see what the larger theater looked like inside. If I was gonna freakin sneak into a movie I wouldn't be leaving during the middle of it! And Ms. Manager didn't even get the name of the movie right it wasn't the Michael Jackson one it was "The Box". PFFT.

Happy Halloween to all of my wonderful LiveJournal friends! I know I don't get on here as much and that is a shame. But I will try to make more time on here so you will see me a bit more often.

It is awesomely spring-like warm outside and work was good for a change. Now if Greg (and me) can get over that stupid cold life would be perfectamundo!!!

I wish there were more Halloween parties to go to. This year seems to be seriously lacking in the party department :(.
